In 2014, after reviewing legislation regarding operation cords and chains on blinds, it became a legal requirement for all blinds to meet British Standards. At Solo Blinds it is our priority to eliminate any risk and ensure the safety of children around our blinds. 

Our child safe options include:

• Vertical: fully wand operated and the wand is even covered in an antibacterial coating
• Roller: available with a spring operated system or a crank control
• Venetian: can be used with just a wand, and if a cord is necessary then we can add a device to keep the cord at a safe height
• We can also make any of our blinds motorised, then they can be operated safely through a remote control
