Morpeth Health Centre

The new £18million Morpeth NHS Centre, developed in partnership with local healthcare commissioners, has opened.

The state-of-the-art centre provides much improved facilities for patients. It brings together outpatient and diagnostic services as well as primary care under one roof to deliver better integrated care close to people’s homes.

The new NHS centre also houses two of Morpeth’s GP practices – Greystoke and Gas House Lane – and presents the opportunity for closer integrated working with the town’s third GP practice, Wellway, with hospital and community-based colleagues working together to join up care for patients.

Once again Solo Blinds were asked to carry out the manufacture and installation of the Cubicle tracks, Curtain tracks, Blinds and Window film to this prestigious project.

The build, which was carried out by Laing O’Rourke, is one of the most recent additions to the NHS portfolio. The high end project was part furnished using some of the most cutting edge systems, including motorised blinds in the waiting areas and bespoke digitally printed blinds to the receptions as well as twin fabric fascia blinds (Solo eFascia Blinds) to all of the meeting and consultant rooms.

Patient areas were enhanced with privacy cubicle rail systems also installed by Solo Blinds in the G-Rail 4100 system and additional privacy added where required with Opaque and reflective window film.
